What is Techshare India 2010?
Techshare India 2010 is a conference on bridging the barriers faced by people with disabilities and to create an awareness about accessibility.

Techshare India 2010 is scheduled for 15 th and 16 th February, 2010.
Where is the conference?
The conference will be held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India.
Who is the Techshare conference for?
Target audience for Techshare India includes government officials, corporates, disability organizations, education professionals, access technology specialists, those working with or interested in technology for people with disabilities, information providers and service providers, and people with disabilities.
What is the theme of the conference?
The theme of the conference is Bridging the Barriers. Today, the barriers that we see are in the areas of mindset, infrastructure, education and technology.
Will there be an exhibition?
Yes, there will be an unique exhibition of assistive technology and devices which will help people with disabilities in their day-to-day life. The exhibition will be held on 15 th and 16 th February 2010 along side the conference.
Who can book a stall in the exhibition?
If you are an assistive technology vendor or an organization that provides services to people with disabilities then you can book a stall to showcase your product or service at the exhibition.

How can I become a speaker?
The Call for Papers is now open. The abstracts will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee and speakers will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
If I present a paper, will Techshare India Organizers sponsor my travel?
The presenters needs to fund their own travel.

The India Habitat Centre is located approximately 15 Kms from the Delhi International Airport.
Is the venue and accommodation accessible for people with disabilities?
We are taking all the steps to provide barrier-free environment and make the venue as accessible as possible. However, if you have any special needs at the time of registration, please mention the same.
