Call for Papers

Overview of Call for Papers

Accessibility conference and exhibition “Techshare India 2014 – Innovate-Adapt-Evolve” invites submissions of papers for this conference to be held on February 13th & 14th, 2014 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, India. The Organizing Committee will be reviewing the papers and will try to ensure that all disabilities are covered in the different area.

The theme for Techshare India 2014 is “Innovate-Adapt-Evolve”. The focus this year of each presentation needs to be on implementation and we need to trigger conversations on how participants can implement the ideas, solutions, products showcased into reality.

This year our focus areas are as follows:

  • Education
  • Employability
  • Accessible Technology
  • Laws, Policies & Standards

Each Session will be for 40 minutes, with 20 minutes for presentation and 20 minutes for interaction. There will be facilitators at each table in the room to build interaction.

Some questions that the audience can be asked to think about from an implementation perspective are:

  • How can they use this idea or product innovatively to empower people with disabilities?
  • How can they adapt this idea or product to cater to the needs of their beneficiaries?
  • How can they take this idea or product and evolve a strategy, training, methodology
etc to impact people with disabilities?

Program Committee

All papers are reviewed and selection is made by the Organizing Committee that is composed of individuals working with different disabilities.
