Techshare India
Techshare is an international conference on accessibility and is being organized for almost a decade now by The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) UK. Techshare India 2008 was organized for the 1st time in India in February 2008 at New Delhi. The conference and exhibition explored the entire gamut of technology working for the disabled and succeeded in breaking barriers between the government, the corporate, the NGOs and the product and service providers on one hand and the disabled sixty million Indians on the other.
Techshare India 2008 - a pan disability conference offered workshops and presentations. In addition, it provided an opportunity to meet with other professionals working in this area from all over the world as well as browse the exhibition space.
In response to the continued demand for organizing Techshare all over India, we have organized Techshare India to Bangalore as road show on 28th August, 2008. Techshare India 2008 Roadshow at Bangalore received overwhelming response with about 120 delegates from Corporate, Government, Disability Organizations and people with disabilities and about 50 students with disabilities visited the Experience Zone.
With continued encouragement, we are now bringing Techshare India to Mumbai as Roadshow! The one day event shall be a platform to share insights and learning's on how technology can empower people with disabilities.
